Game Design

Game Design consists of many varied tasks. We take the levels from level design and make them playable by adding NPCs, monsters, scripts and traps. We’re also responsible for making the quests and NPCs come alive. We take the levels, the story, the art, the sounds and the voices and make it all blend together. It is the great smelting pot where everything gets together. Another aspect of the department is testing. All levels must be tested before we start working with them, and they must be tested again before leaving the department. It is a long process but one of the most important as one little bug can make the entire mod unplayable.
